Production Planning & Management aligns customer demand with available capacity. It imports customer delivery schedules, holds machine and plant capacity as master data, and holds the daily production plan the shop floor works to. Manpower output, work in progress and schedule adherence are tracked against that plan in real time.
What this module does
The module aligns customer demand schedules with machine and plant capacity, and tracks real-time production output.
Planning starts from the imported customer schedule. Machine capacity and plant-wise capacity are held as master data, and the daily production plan sits against them. As production runs, manpower output and work in progress are recorded, and schedule-versus-actual reporting and bottleneck analysis show where the constraint sits.
