Paperless process traveler
The Route Card System replaces the paper traveler that accompanies a job through the plant. The route card is built from configurable check sheets mapped to the model being made, and each stage is completed on the device the operator has to hand rather than on a sheet that has to be found, filled and filed. What was recorded, when and by whom stays with the job.
What this module does
A digital route card replaces the traditional paper traveler that accompanies a job through every manufacturing stage.
Check sheets are configured to match the process and mapped to the model they apply to, so the route card a job carries reflects the work that job actually needs. Data is entered by several methods, including capture on a tablet or mobile at the point of work, and automated capture and system integration bring in what does not need to be typed. Quality checklists and inspection forms are configurable in the same way. An audit trail records changes, records are retained electronically, and management reports and alerts sit on top.
